About
Wiley Wallace is a contemporary surrealist painter born and raised in Phoenix, Arizona, often described as an Arizonan native who grew up in the Valley, including Tempe. His parents were artists and sign painters who owned a shop in Tempe, fostering his early love for art through helping in the family business and museum visits in Old Town Scottsdale. He attended Coronado High School, earned a bachelor's degree in inter-media arts from Arizona State University, and pursued a master's in fine arts at the University of California, Santa Barbara. Currently, he serves as a residential art professor at South Mountain Community College, where he also explores street art and murals in South Phoenix.
Contemporary surrealism featuring luminous, surreal landscapes with child figures, skeletons, and sci-fi nostalgia, blending realistic rendering with playful yet macabre supernatural elements.
