About

Vincent Fink is an award-winning contemporary surrealist artist and self-described Renaissance Man based in Houston's Arts District, working from his Winter St Studio. Born on April 1, 1984, in the greater Houston area, he graduated from The Art Institute of Houston in 2005 with a degree in Media Arts & Animation. This education provided foundational skills in life drawing, perspective techniques, and polygonal modeling, which he applies to deconstruct subjects into geometric elements. After college, he began his career as a graphic designer, where he met his wife, and soon embarked on an entrepreneurial path as a self-employed artist, launching his first series, Atlas Metamorphosis, in 2010 with detailed greyscale Sumi ink drawings inspired by a lucid dream. He has since expanded into surrealistic paintings incorporating Sacred Geometry, Iterations series, and multidimensional installations blending ink drawings, paintings, light, sculpture, and temporal media.

Contemporary surrealism blending warped perspectives, Sacred Geometry, and symbolic motifs to explore mythology, history, science, and reality
