Valéry Vécu Quitard, pseudonym of Valéry Quitard, is a self-taught French painter born in 1960 in Perpignan, specializing in oil painting. He demonstrated artistic talent from a young age, excelling in drawing by seven years old, and now resides in southern France, with mentions of locations including Castelnou, Castelnau, and Angoulême. Working with galleries across France, England, the Netherlands, Portugal, and the United States, his contemporary surrealist style features anthropomorphic animals and fantastical beasts in tender, facetious narratives.
