Tom Bagshaw
About
Tom Bagshaw is a British digital artist based in Bath, England, who has developed a highly rendered digital painting style exploring portraiture and figurative themes of fantasy, beauty, and mysticism.[1][2] He spent the early 2000s refining his skills as an illustrator for major clients including Sony, GQ, and the BBC before transitioning to full-time fine art in 2010.[1][3] His work is characterized by a unique blend of realistic figurative imagery with graphic elements, creating ethereal figures set within otherworldly landscapes rooted in fantasy, mythology, and science fiction.[1][2] Bagshaw is largely self-taught, discovering digital art approximately eight years before 2010 and teaching himself Photoshop and Painter software.[4] He works commercially under the moniker Mostlywanted through the Central Illustration Agency, while his personal fine art explores deeper imaginative narratives.[3] His digital paintings have been exhibited in galleries worldwide, including prestigious venues in Los Angeles, Seattle, San Francisco, New York, Berlin, and Japan.[3]
