About
Tereneh Idia is a Pittsburgh-raised fashion designer, writer, and founder of Idia'Dega, a global eco-design collaboration that networks traditional and Indigenous textile artists. She graduated from Drexel University LeBow College of Business and, as a Rotary International Ambassadorial Scholar, earned an MSC in Fashion Design from Kenyatta University. Idia has taught at institutions including the Art Institute of Pittsburgh, Parsons – The New School for Design in New York City, and served as a visiting scholar on global fashion at Yale – National University of Singapore.
