About
Stefan Thelen, known by his anti-superhero alter-ego Super A, is a Dutch contemporary artist born in 1981 in Goes, The Netherlands. He studied graphic design and began his career with an internship involving large-scale murals and manual craftsmanship, which shaped his unique ribbon-like style blending cartoonish and realistic elements in a modern surrealist approach. Drawing from personal experiences, his work manipulates familiar pop iconography into mind-bending compositions that tightrope between fiction and nonfiction, often exploring contradictions, social issues, and metaphorical narratives through hyper-realistic yet ethereal depictions.[1][2][3]
