Stephen Ives
About
Stephen Ives, also known as Cloudboy, is an Australian multi-disciplinary artist born in England in 1970 to an Australian mother and English father. He grew up on the outskirts of Lewes, England, before moving to Australia at age 12, where he immersed himself in Lego, drawing, and model-making as a child and teenager. After completing high school with distinction but failing to enter fine art courses, he worked in hospitality and cooking before experiencing a creative rebirth in his mid-20s, starting with drawing and exhibitions around age 27. He has lived in Melbourne, Denmark, and traveled extensively, incorporating influences from pop culture, sci-fi, and personal experiences into his work.[1][2][3]
