Shannon Taylor

Shannon Taylor is a painter, illustrator, craftsman, educator, and mixed-media artist based in Oakland, California. She serves as Assistant Chair and Professor in the Illustration Program at California College of the Arts, where she teaches after earning her Master’s Degree in Illustration from University of the Arts London, Camberwell, following studies at California College of the Arts in San Francisco. Previously, she was the long-time Director of Art and Restoration at Children’s Fairyland in Oakland, and she creates and sells miniature, hand-assembled watercolor paint sets in ornate antiques.
