Scott Musgrove
About
Scott Musgrove is a Seattle-based contemporary artist renowned for his pop-surrealist and lowbrow art, specializing in fantastical depictions of extinct and imaginary animal species in lush, detailed landscapes. He earned a Bachelor of Fine Arts in illustration and painting from Columbus College of Art and Design in Ohio. After graduation, he moved to Seattle, working as a comic book artist for publishers like Fantagraphics Books and Dark Horse Comics, and contributing to anthologies. He later relocated to Los Angeles to animate the TV series Fat Dog Mendoza for Cartoon Network Europe, Sony Wonder, and Sunbow Entertainment, before returning to Seattle to focus on fine art painting, illustration, and sculpture.
