Sally Hastings is an emerging contemporary artist originally from Melbourne, Australia. A self-taught painter with a background as an art director and designer in the advertising industry for nearly 20 years, she transitioned to full-time painting in 2023. Working from her home studio in Buxton, regional Victoria, her pop surrealist artworks explore themes of nostalgia, pop culture, kitsch Australiana, consumerism, street art, absurdities, and environmental concerns through bright, bold acrylic compositions with expressive brushstrokes and graphic elements.
