About

After a year of self-reflection, spiritual practices, reading, and exploration of various art forms like oil painting, acrylics, miniature painting on seeds and matchboxes, and digital photography, Fidai discovered micro-sculptures by Dalton Ghetti and began crafting his own from pencil graphite. Positive reception on Instagram led to sales and international recognition, establishing him as a pioneer in this niche. In 2022, he and his family emigrated from Russia to Charlotte, North Carolina, USA, due to opposition to Russia's war on Ukraine. Now a full-time freelance artist, filmmaker, and sculptor, Fidai challenges the limits of precision and fragility in his work, aspiring to create a dedicated museum for graphite micro-sculptures.
