About
S.V. Williams, also known as Stephen V. Williams, is a contemporary surrealist painter, fine artist, and muralist based in Sacramento, California. A self-taught artist born in 1981, he began with graffiti and spray painting during his teenage years, influenced by comic book illustrations, science fiction, stop-motion animation, sci-fi and horror films, and West Coast street art scenes. His work features hybrid creatures blending natural and unnatural elements—animals, insects, and humanesque forms—in dark, psychedelic surreal environments, often mixing organic and mechanical forms using aerosol, oil, acrylic, and pen on canvas and wood.[1][2][3][6]
