About

Nom Kinnear King is a London-based contemporary artist specializing in surreal, narrative oil paintings and mixed media drawings that blend real and imaginary worlds, often featuring female characters surrounded by precious objects, secrecy, and hopeful magic inspired by rural folklore from her Norfolk homeland. Originally from the Norfolk countryside, she developed a love for art from her father and studied Fine Art Print and Photo Media, earning a BA from Norwich School of Art and Design in the UK. Her work draws from diverse influences including Eastern Europe, South America, Tom Waits, Amelie, and found objects, beginning with sketches, collages, and collected imagery.
