Natalia Fabia
About
Natalia Fabia is a Polish-American contemporary painter born on April 3, 1983, in Los Angeles, California, to parents who immigrated from Poland. Raised in Southern California, she graduated from ArtCenter College of Design's Illustration program in 2006 and began her career in the early 2000s with group exhibitions in Los Angeles, quickly gaining recognition for her figurative oil paintings using alla prima techniques. Her early works feature vibrant, sultry scenes of people in lush environments, ornate fashion, graffiti, punk rock influences, and unapologetic sensuality, often drawing comparisons to Toulouse-Lautrec, while later pieces explore life cycles, introspection, identity, and cosmic themes inspired by personal relationships.
