Contemporary Surrealism Oil painting

About

Nam Das is a contemporary surrealist painter known for creating open-ended visual stories by arranging figurative elements into assemblages that explore Jungian archetypes of the collective unconscious and mythologems observed throughout history. He employs a limited palette of four colors—Titanium White, Cadmium Red, Yellow Ochre, and Ivory Black (Zorn palette)—in his oil paintings, often drawing from mythological and archetypal themes. Based in Baguio, Benguet, Philippines, he began working as a full-time painter in early 2019 after formal training in India.
