About
Michelle Avery Konczyk is a contemporary artist from Nazareth, Pennsylvania, known for her distinctive watercolor paintings that challenge traditional perceptions of the medium.[3] After rejecting formal art education, she spent several years developing her artistic practice in her parents' basement, eventually gaining recognition through online exposure that led to gallery representation.[2] Her work explores the intersection of beauty and darkness, employing surrealist imagery to examine the contradictions inherent in human experience and perception.[3]
Contemporary surrealism with elements of realism; characterized by eerily beautiful imagery that juxtaposes love and beauty with darkness and morbidity
