Michael Bell is an American portrait painter, muralist, screenwriter, and author renowned for his narrative series paintings and portraits of notable figures including John Gotti and actors from Mafia-themed films and series such as The Sopranos, Goodfellas, and A Bronx Tale. A pioneer of the Visual Journaling movement, he has delivered workshops, keynotes, webinars, and a TED talk across the United States, while also serving as a highly regarded art educator. Bell is an advocate against bullying and for Autism awareness, influenced by his experiences as a father to an autistic son.
