About
Marisa S. White is an award-winning fine art photographer renowned for seamlessly stitching multiple photographs into surreal and fantastical imagery that weaves personal narratives, hyperbolizing emotions and experiences difficult to express in words. Raised in Houston, Texas, she was influenced early by surrealists like René Magritte, Giorgio de Chirico, and Max Ernst at The Menil Collection. Holding a BFA in Drawing and Painting from the University of North Texas, her passion for photography emerged in college, leading to mixed media collages. In 2012, training at the Rocky Mountain School of Photography introduced her to Photoshop, transforming her practice into digital collages.
