Luciano Sanchez is a Spanish artist born in the late 1970s in Granada, Spain. He holds a degree from the University of Fine Arts in Granada and works within the Lowbrow Art or Pop-surrealism movement that emerged in late 1970s California. His art features protagonists from vintage engines, underground comics, science fiction films, and pop culture, infused with pessimism, post-apocalyptic themes, and nostalgic references to the 1970s, 1980s, and 1990s, evoking a yearning for a better past.
