Kristin Kwan is a contemporary artist based in Lincoln, Nebraska, known for her illustrative oil paintings and drawings that blend fantasy, allegory, and surrealism to explore themes of life, death, rebirth, nature, and dreamlike realms. Born in Eastern Washington state, she spent her early childhood in the Pacific Northwest before her family moved frequently across Washington, Oregon, Utah, Nebraska, and Wyoming. Homeschooled from 6th to 11th grade, she developed her drawing skills from toddlerhood with supportive parents providing art supplies, fostering a deep fascination with nature, birds, dinosaurs, and hidden mysteries inspired by new homes and outdoor explorations.
