Juliet Schreckinger
About
Juliet Schreckinger is a Long Island, New York-based contemporary artist specializing in pen and ink stippling and graphite drawings. She holds a BFA in illustration from the School of Visual Arts in Manhattan, New York. Her work draws inspiration from the ocean, nature, and animals, influenced by childhood fascinations with black and white photography, colorless television, and film noir, which inform her use of lighting effects and sharp contrasts. Through an illustrative approach to fine art, she creates narrative pieces that give voice to nature and animals, often accompanied by short stories, emphasizing visual storytelling and environmental themes.[1][2]
