About

Jessica Dalva is a Californian artist born in 1987, specializing in sculpture, painting, and illustration within the Pop Surrealism category. Hailing from Northern California, she grew up as the daughter of prolific creatives, spending her childhood exploring art through making dolls, drawing, crafting jewelry, and creating imaginative concoctions. She completed her art studies in 2009 with a focus on illustration but shifted toward three-dimensional work by the end of college. Her professional experience includes large-scale painting and sculpting for parade floats and theme park attractions, as well as miniature-scale work for stop-motion animation props and sets. She is based in Los Angeles and dabbles in sewing costumes, set design, and puppetry.
