Jem Ham is a self-taught contemporary surrealist artist based in Fremantle, Western Australia. Born in Melbourne in 1981, his interest in art began at the age of four when he started painting on brick walls with water. His early childhood involved hours spent climbing trees and daydreaming, fostering his artistic curiosity. Ham's work explores surreal themes, drawing from everyday observations in a dreamlike manner.
