Hannah Flowers
About
Hannah Flowers is a contemporary artist born in 1989 on the rugged shores of Tasmania, Australia. She began her artistic career as a fine art university student before entering the tattooing world around 2011, drawn by the prospect of earning money through her art. Tattooing for several years, she developed a style blending realism and traditional techniques, focusing on feminine subjects inspired by themes like the femme fatale, sad girl, and girl with a secret. In 2017, she moved to London as a base for travels to Scotland, Ireland, America, and guest spots worldwide, learning from admired tattoo artists. Eventually transitioning back to painting to break boundaries of skin and client work, she now resides in the misty mountains of Scotland, where nature and history inspire her.[1][2][3][5]
Contemporary surrealism with mythic symbolism, allegorical grotesques, lush florals, and a Macabre Nouveau aesthetic influenced by art nouveau, pre-Raphaelites, and classical oil painting
