Xtian, known as Gadzooxtian, is a Melbourne-based contemporary artist working in the lowbrow pop-surrealism style. Conceived in East Germany and born in Hungary, he identifies as one part Australian and two parts former communist. He is recognized for his collage, painting, and illustrative works often infused with surreal and pop elements.
