Dustin Myers is an American contemporary artist born in 1984, born and raised in Southern California. He has been drawing and painting for as long as he can remember, with a lifelong passion for art that began in childhood. Myers started exhibiting his work in galleries around 2007 while in college, initially contacting galleries via social media to secure representation. He specializes in oil paintings featuring detailed portraits of endearing yet wacky characters, often described in the context of contemporary surrealism, emphasizing surface quality, texture, and lifelike presence best appreciated in person.
