Dolaana Davaá
About
Dolaana Davaá is a Tuvinian artist born in the Republic of Tuva, Russia, and currently based in Milan, Italy. Raised in a culturally rich environment that fostered her passion for art, she pursued extensive formal education, including an art lyceum, one year at an art institute in Moscow, and both Bachelor and Master degrees at the Brera Academy in Milan, totaling 14 years of study. Her work reflects a journey of breaking free from classical training, physically and visually deconstructing traditional art to create contemporary expressions that blend her Tuvinian heritage with influences from Oriental traditions and art history.
