Dewi Plass is a Dutch contemporary artist born in 1990, known for her self-taught surrealist paintings featuring animals in fantastical worlds. With a profound fascination for nature and visual arts from an early age, she opted against art school and instead pursued an academic degree in Cultural and Visual Anthropology, graduating in 2014. In 2015, she transitioned to a full-time career as a visual artist, using acrylics to create immersive scenes that blend the familiar with the unexpected, inviting viewers to explore surreal narratives centered on wildlife.
