David Hourigan is a Melbourne-based contemporary artist specializing in miniature sculptures, particularly detailed small-scale models of buildings, landmarks, and scenes. Raised as the eldest of two boys, he displayed early artistic talent through drawing and painting, completed high school, and attended the University of Sydney. Although he has been creating models throughout his life, he began focusing on miniatures of Melbourne landmarks in 2019 and transitioned to full-time miniaturist work approximately five years prior to 2023.
