About
Cole Rise is a multifaceted photographer, entrepreneur, designer, filmmaker, pilot, and space camera maker based in San Francisco. He began his career early, founding his first web design company at age 16, and gained prominence by designing the original Instagram app icon in 45 minutes at the request of CEO Kevin Systrom, a friend. Rise has worked with major companies including Apple, Yahoo, Instagram, Polaroid, Amazon, Sony, Motorola, Google, and Microsoft, where he currently serves as a Principal Designer. Notable projects include launching Polaroid Swing, prototyping smartphone production for Yahoo's first iPhone efforts, and creating Litely, a highly successful photo filter app in 2014 that simplified mobile image editing and achieved millions of downloads.[1][2][3]
