About

Carey Thompson is a dynamic visual artist specializing in psychedelic art, known for his 'Galactivation' series featuring abstract renditions emanating from central figures that create immersive, trippy experiences for viewers. His first acid trip on his 16th birthday in the suburbs of Richmond, Virginia, marked a major turning point, awakening a deep reverence for nature and inspiring his fusion of art, psychedelics, science, and spirituality. In his late teens, around age 19, he began creating art designed to be gazed into under the influence of psychedelics like acid or mushrooms, later incorporating sacred geometry after years of study, and viewing himself as a medium through which energies and visions from other realms come forth.
