Brad Gunn
About
Brad Gunn is a Melbourne-based sculptor specializing in contemporary materials and techniques, often creating figurative works that explore intimate psychologies, social structures, identity, and surreal characters through an ever-shifting cultural landscape. He balances a professional sculpture and fabrication business with his personal practice, working for private and commercial clients, and employs moulding and casting techniques honed over 20 years, hand-sculpting in oil-based clay before casting in resins, gypsums, or cements, often finishing with hand-painting or synthetic velvet flock. Gunn holds a Bachelor's Degree from the Victorian College of the Arts and has exhibited extensively in solo and group shows in Australia and overseas.
