Camille-Pierre Bodo Pambu, known as Bodo or Art Bodo, was a prominent Congolese painter and pastor born in 1953 in Mandu, Democratic Republic of Congo. He moved to Kinshasa in 1970 after completing secondary school and became one of the founders of the Zaïre School of Popular Painting alongside artists like Moke and Chéri Samba. His early works chronicled everyday life, social issues, and sorcery (Ndoki Zoba), aiming to influence society and discourage harmful practices. In 1980, he converted to Christianity, becoming a passionate Pentecostal pastor focused on world evangelism.
