About
Annita Maslov is a Melbourne-based contemporary artist known for her intricate pen and ink drawings and delicate dotwork tattoos inspired by gothic, historical, nature, and mythological motifs. She began her career as a freelance illustrator, naturally transitioning into tattooing as commissions for body art increased. Maslov renders her monochrome designs dot by dot, creating works that resemble old lithographs etched onto the skin, featuring elements like florals, skulls, insects, birds, sea creatures, and figures from history and mythology.[1][2]
