About

Andrew 'Android' Jones, born in Lyons, Colorado, began studying art at age 8 and developed his skills in traditional mediums at the Ringling School of Art and Design in Sarasota, Florida. After graduating, he worked at Industrial Light & Magic as an intern and at Interplay Entertainment, contributing to projects like the Heart of Winter expansion for Icewind Dale. He co-founded Massive Black, a gaming concept art company with credits on games such as Hellgate: London, before leaving the industry in disillusionment around 2005 to pursue an independent career as a digital painter renowned for his layered, psychedelic works and live performances.[1][2][3][6]
