Allison Reimold is a Los Angeles native and pop surrealist painter and illustrator known for combining classical portraiture with a seductive, silky smooth surreal style. Her brightly colored works meditate on femininity, empowerment, and the female gaze, often featuring mesmerizing female portraiture that incorporates natural elements, religious iconography, and interplay of light and shadow. Trained as a traditional oil painter, she graduated from Otis College of Art and Design and works full-time illustrating movie posters at a leading advertising agency while maintaining her studio practice.
