Adrian Borda, also known as Borda D. Adrian or Adrian-Danut Borda, is a Romanian surrealist painter born and based in Reghin, Transylvania. He began his artistic journey in his teens at the Art High School in Targu-Mures and later graduated from the George Enescu University, Faculty of Fine Arts and Design in Iasi, specializing in painting. Describing himself as an 'inner traveler,' Borda explores the subconscious through deep, symbolic meditations on life, intimate tendencies, and the human body, unbound by conventions or taboos. His figurative surrealist works blend raw honesty with refined technique, evoking innocence, sinister beauty, and rebellion reminiscent of Banksy, Giger, and Dali, while remaining uniquely his own.
