Adam Elliot is an Academy Award-winning Australian animator and filmmaker based in Melbourne, renowned for his stop-motion clay animation films known as 'Clayographies,' which blend clay animation with biographical elements drawn from personal and family experiences. His works explore themes of disability, loneliness, human imperfection, grief, and quirky everyday lives, often featuring bittersweet narratives of ordinary people facing hardships with moments of joy and irony. Elliot attended Haileybury School, where he developed his creative interests in art and drama, before studying animation at the Victorian College of the Arts, graduating in 1996 with a postgraduate diploma in film and television.[1][2][3]
